Dr. Libby is a Seattle and Pouslbo-based cognitive-behavioral therapist who specializes in sex therapy and marriage and relationship counseling. Dr. Libby is licensed as a Mental Health Counselor in Washington (LH 60106663). He treats single and married people, and he addresses the concerns of gay and lesbian clients as well as heterosexuals and bisexuals. His sessions are an hour long, and his work is totally confidential.

Some insurance companies cover Dr. Libby's services, but insurance companies do not always cover sex therapy or couples work. Most of Dr. Libby's work is short-term. He works as quickly as he can to solve a given problem. He provides a DSM code for insurance companies on his receipt. Some insurance companies cover Dr. Libby's services as an out-of-network provider.

Therapy by Telephone or Skype

In addition to in-office visits in Poulsbo (Kitsap County) and in Seattle, Dr. Libby does therapy by phone or Skype for those who do not live near a qualified sex and marital therapist. When there is a couple, he talks separately to each person first, followed by a joint session where both clients are on the phone at the same time.
